It is with regret that we announce that Rabbi Ginsberg will be leaving Beth Abraham at the end of his contract on June 30, 2021. Rabbi Ginsberg has made many valuable contributions over the eight years he has served as our Rabbi and he, along with Jenna and his family, have been an integral part of synagogue life at Beth Abraham. Their impact has certainly helped to position Beth Abraham for the renewal we highlighted during our 125th Year Anniversary celebration, and will serve as a strong foundation to carry Beth Abraham into the future. On behalf of the Officers and the Board of Beth Abraham, we want to thank Rabbi Ginsberg for his service to Beth Abraham and the Dayton Jewish community. We look forward to enjoying our remaining time with Rabbi Ginsberg and to honoring him, Jenna, Ranon, Elior and Matan before they leave Beth Abraham.

Welcome to Beth Abraham Synagogue, Dayton’s Only Conservative Synagogue

We are a welcoming congregation filled with the energy of Jewish renewal. Continuing a tradition of progressive Judaism that goes back more than a century, Beth Abraham Synagogue is located in the city of Oakwood near Dayton, Ohio. Our weekly Shabbat services are held in our brightly lit main sanctuary while our daily minyan services are held in our intimate chapel. Both settings feature beautiful stained glass images that were commissioned specifically for our synagogue and that add spiritual warmth to our services.
