The wearing of masks is optional in the synagogue building for those who are vaccinated. Anyone who is symptomatically ill or tests positive for COVID should not come to the synagogue and should take advantage of our streaming services. For the High Holidays, we are designating an area as “mask only” for those who prefer to be seated around other masked individuals. As conditions change, we will continue to review this policy.
We are a welcoming congregation filled with the energy of Jewish renewal. Continuing a tradition of progressive Judaism that goes back more than a century, Beth Abraham Synagogue is located in the city of Oakwood near Dayton, Ohio. Our weekly Shabbat services are held in our brightly lit main sanctuary while our daily minyan services are held in our intimate chapel. Both settings feature beautiful stained glass images that were commissioned specifically for our synagogue and that add spiritual warmth to our services.
