Youth Activities

Beth Abraham is home to a local chapter of USY (United Synagogue Youth) and is part of CRUSY, Central Region United Synagogue Youth. The group meets on a regular basis with general meetings usually held on Tuesday evenings at Beth Abraham and plans other monthly social events. Members also attend several regional activities throughout the year. USY is open to all Jewish high school students, regardless of synagogue affiliation. For more information, contact Cantor Raizen.

Post B’nai Mitzvah students are welcome to participate and take an active role in synagogue programs. They are invited to serve on synagogue committees.

Most of our teens have learned to chant both Torah and Haftarah portions in the course of their B’nai Mitzvah training and attendance at our Religious School. They are encouraged to continue using these skills by participating in Shabbat and holiday services throughout High School.
